Adolfo Sanchez is an up and coming Womenswear designer based in Los Angeles. He launched his ready-to-wear line in 2006, after having collaborated with some of the leading names in the industry since he was 19 years old.

He loves combining soft and hard details together. His artful conception takes you on a journey to a world of freedom where women dare to be strong and different. The Adolfo Sanchez brand offers custom creations, ready-to-wear, accessories, and leather goods for powerful and confident woman from east to west who feel comfortable with taking risks in life and with their personal style. He likes woman to have full control of their style wearing a garment.
As a designer he focuses mostly on the concept of "wearability", as he finds it "extremely important since it is the lucrative part of the industry." However, he finds the balance of art and practicality crucial. "The art aspect should not be lost in the process because at the end of the day designers are not only fulfilling an utilitarian function, they are extracting the unique remnants of an artist’s imagination that marks the current movements and influences of our culture. Artists should create something that speaks curiosity," he explains.
In his eyes, McQueen will always be the ultimate definition of wearable art. He has followed the work of Gaultier and Galliano since he was 15 or 16. Another source of inspiration for him is Thierry Mugler, whose work he finds "amazing". He was always fascinated by his ability to transform a woman’s silhouette.
But his inspiration is not limited only by the work of other great designers, he also stems it "by everything - people, places, music, and there is so much more to do, that I sometimes wonder if I have become obsessed with this industry."
